Bingo!

My good friend, the CEO at The Morning Meeting, has given me the Blogging that Hits the Mark Award. Thank you so much, Monty. All I can say is it takes one to know one.

I would like to pass it on to the ever-lovely and succinct Liz at Los Angelista's Guide to the Pursuit of Happiness.

To the beautiful inside-and-out as well as funny Claudia at On a Limb with Claudia,

To the most delightful and charming Velvet at Velvet's Room,

To the clear-eyed and straight-shooting I Am Not Star Jones at The Unemployment Cafe,

And to the incredibly talented, witty Jocelyn at O Mighty Crisis.

These ladies are totally different from one another, but each of them hits the mark every time, and I love them all.

Wow. Thank you so very much. And I just posted pictures of Coco's butt. You could hit that target with your eyes closed!

Thank you very much!

Claudia,

You're very welcome.

I can't wait to see Coco's butt... or CAN I? :<)

Star,

My Pleasure.

After Eartha Kitt, well, what could possibly come close?

NOTE TO ALL:

I have had to reinstall the moderation letters after getting sixteen (!!) bot comments in two days, one of which calls itself "name."

I apologize for the trouble of dealing with the pesky alphabet soup.

Susan, you are a great choice, and I like the choices you made since I already read three of them. There's always room for more quality in one's life! Thank you.

Sometimes it's 10:16 p.m. on a Saturday, and I'm sitting all alone, having a drink, missing my husband (who had to take off for a city several hours away to sit bedside with his grandma, who is in full final demise),

and then this comes along.

And my Saturday night is MORE than fine.

As are you, my dear Susan.

Goodness, I am totally honored. Thank you so much!
Love you too, Susan!

And I'm glad you gave this to me before NaNoWriMo begins because I'm not sure what that's going to do to my blogging life! :)

Monty,

Well, two to go, then.

Thank you for thinking of me.

Jocelyn,

I'm always happy to keep you company on a Saturday night. Was it good for you too, honey?

LIz,

I'm not sure what NaNoWriMo is... National Novel Writing Month?

I should be doing that, too, since bull whips and other such enticements don't seem to work.

You are thoughtful, you are creative, you are so many things, yes, yes, yes.

But this one covers everything -- you do, in fact, hit the mark. Each and every time. Precisely and succiently. And with style and grace and charm and wit.

David,

I don't know who thinks up these things. I wonder when I'll get the Mean-Spirited Blogger Who Hates Skanky Neighbor Award.

Wow -- congratulations yet again! I love the way you've quickly passed this award on to other sites you enjoy, introducing the rest of us to more good reading.

Of course (in my obsessiveness), I've bookmarked them all and added them to Google Reader (as recommendations from you). The challenge is that the 823 unread posts I had whittled down to 787 has now risen to 854 ... YIKES! I'll never catch up with the posts on your site (or anyone else's) at this rate ... and I've been meaning to check out your other blog. Exhaling to relax and LOL

I hate to miss out on anything, but I'm beginning to see why there's an option to mark all posts as read in GR ... and I just might do that sometime soon. :)

Oh my Lord ... there's so much to do! (see post of the same name at Small Reflections left a few days back and you'll get a glimpse into my mind currently).

It's a good thing I'm happily retired or they might be sending out search parties by now.

Storyteller,

I don't subscribe to Google Reader or any other such entity, so my reading of blogs is a free form arrangement.

The pressure would be too much for me - like homework.

I will happily check out the post you mention here, though.
