Suitable for Framing
Our friend, Stephen, sent me this photo. He suggests that I print and hang it in plain view so that Flip will remember my grave condition.
Thanks, Stephen. I need all the help I can get.

One little sniffle and she's punching up daisys! Come on, where's that pioneer spirit girl? It's a long way to Tipperary! (wherever that is). Don't give up the ship! Keep a stiff upper lip and if the going gets tough, run away! (but don't forget your tissues!)
Flip,
Thanks for your sympathy. And don't forget I have a thermometer which can be used rectally, right along with your pioneer spirit.
Lmao! Anyone got popcorn?
Get better soon, sweetie!
*sprays Lysol*
Christina,
Popcorn? What about flowers? (After the Lysol settles, of course.)
Get well soon, very soon! (That picture is priceless.)
Thinker,
Thank you so much!
(He wouldn't listen. I bet he's sorry now.)
Oh that's a good one. Feel better...it is seriously going around.
Hilarious. I'm saving this pic to post on my door next time I'm sick.
Liz,
Now you tell me. All the forces of evil are frolicking in my body.
Lee,
It's less funny after you die.
I'm going to get a headstone that says. "At Last She Sleeps Alone"
Hope you feel better sooner.
This is the funniest thing ever! I've never seen anything like it.
Where can I order this headstone?
By the way, I feel fine.
Meno,
Anyone who would willingly sleep with me right now must have a powerful death wish.
Nicole,
I'll feel more like laughing when I'm not moribund.
Mist,
Headtones R Us, of course.
Poor thing. Get well soon.. BTW rite aid sells condoms for those digital 'probes' so it can be oral and rectal! Whee!
Urchin.
Thanks for clearing that up. I know my life will be better now.
LOL!!!
Poor Flip doesn't need this sign. All he needs is extra cuddling while you are still sneezing!!!! Sorry Flip, I couldn't hold back.
Will Flip sing out of the other side of his mouth if he gets sick, too? Hope it does not happen and that you are better soon. I can't imagine where you stash all those cough drops.
Ha! Flip said "pushing up daisys"! I thought only my dad said that.
Feel better soon!!
I saw the actual tombstone in a cemetary in Key West - it was the island's most infamous hypochondriac. It was a little erie to see it.
Anyway, hope you feel better soon.
The first potsthumous post I see :)
... priceless :)))
Olives,
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Poor Flip. Why is it always about HIM? I'm the one dying, and I get no respect.
7th,
They don't last long enough to be stashed. And Flip is worse than I am when he's sick. Truly. So I hope he doesn't catch it for both our sakes.
Lex,
I think I detected a bit of sarcasm in his comment about daisies. Very poor judgment on his part.
Kevin,
Even hypochondriacs have real ailments, you know. Thanks for your good wishes.
Marie,
I think I'll start a new blog called "Posthumously Yours."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Hopefully not indicative of your condition, but funny nonetheless!!
Poor thing. We're soooo alike in sickness. I'm saving the pic to let Adrian see it - and think about it the next time I get sick.
I got a little annoyed the other night when after a bunch of sneezes and a couple of coughs I was left alone to deal with myillness. I expected Adrian to come running in with tissues and tea ready to rub my dainty feet. Grrrr.
Ryane,
I believe it's called "gallows humor."
Jali,
I remember those dainty man-sized feet, and he should damn well be rubbing them. Flip says (often) that he's sorry I'm sick, but he doesn't DO anything about it. I want him to do something.
Hope you're feeling better. My recent cold/flu bug is just now beginning to wane, after 35 days of hacking and 1,345 cough drops (I counted).
I don't know about you, but Ricola has no merit whatsover. Give good old fashioned Halls Eucalyptus any day.
Mystic,
35 days! You're scaring me.
I suppose Ricola has no medicinal benefits because they taste good. I'm fond of old-fashioned honey-hoarhound drops but couldn't find any.
i suggest lots of rest, and lots of cookie dough!
Ashley,
I prefer my cookies baked, but the resting part sounds good.
Death is your body's way of telling you to slow down.
I hope you feel better soon!
I've found that my husband isn't too good with sympathy when I'm ill, either. Good thing that I don't get sick much, though I'm due soon. After your last post, I've got an urge to go out and get some cough drops in preparation.

Velvet,
You don't have to be a Boy Scout to be prepared.
I hardly ever get sick. so I guess I was overdue. Thank you for your well wishes.
Hang in there. We gotta get that grave marker some flowers though!!!
;-)
Michael,
Oh, would you please? I like nearly all flowers -- you can't go wrong. No dead ones, though.
And I hope somebody will remind Flip of my preferred musical selections for the funeral. You're all invited, of course. Please cry.
I'm glad to see you're still with us :)
Marie,
Me, too. I hope it remains so.
I can relate. Somehow, whenever I get sick, so does my spouse. Perhaps, he feels so sorry for me, that he mirrors my condition. I'm rather relieved, that we never were pregnant together. He'd probably have labor pains, too.
